I do not know the date of these photos; they may have been made for their wedding, 25 December 1938.
This is a photo of my father, Ernest Edgar Golden. I am not certain of the provenance of this photo. In the 1930 federal census, he is listed as living with his parents on Wilmer Avenue, Anniston, AL, and his occupation is "waiter." He would have been 22 years old at the time. My parents were married in 1938, eight years after the 1930 census and when my father was 30 years old. He appears to be in his 20's in this photo, so, the photo may date from around 1930, when he was living at home working as a "waiter."
