Raccoon
on one of our
bird feeders
Around 7:45 PM EDST, 12 May 2008, we spotted something draped around one of our bird feeders. We have had a running battle with squirrels getting onto the feeders and we thought this was another squirrel. When we looked more closely, this is what we found -- a very large raccoon. Because it was almost dark and I was not using a tripod on the camera, the photo is a bit fuzzy.
