Richardson Family Bible
My maternal Great-great-grandparents were Robert Riley Richardson (1813 - 1874) and Mary E. Wells Hatfield Richardson (1820 - 1891). They are buried in the old Richardson family cemetery near Woodville, Wilkinson County, Mississippi.
As with most families of the time, they maintained a family bible in which they entered births, deaths, and marriages. Robert Riley Richardson's family bible is in the possession of Bob Richardson, my mother's cousin, who lives in Louisiana. Bob has taken excellent care of the old Bible; he made a cedar box to hold the Bible and copied all the family genealogy information from it.
